Sri Lanka is economically deprived due to the decrease in exports and the increase in imports.
The country should have an effective economical progress agenda which prioritizes exports, research and development, entrepreneurs and value added variety of production.
More incentives should be provided to SMEs while reducing welfare in general.
The administration should have effective methods of providing services and facilitation to all sectors that help boost the economy.
Corruption and malpractices should be drastically reduced in the public sector.
Entrepreneural education and skilled development education should be prioritized while empowering students to look into all aspects of employment where they are incentivized to retain in Sri Lanka.
